About Florida Parents for Fair Play

Florida Parents for Fair Play, Inc. is a 501 (c)(4) organization that informs and educates citizens and elected and appointed officials about school athletics and the importance of having an appropriate regulatory agency providing proper oversight of sports played in schools.

Formed in early 2012, Florida Parents for Fair Play provides parents, coaches and taxpayers a voice to express their concerns about issues that attack the essential values student-athletes learn through playing sports.

According to the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA), House Bill 1279 and Senate Bill 1164 would create “free agency” for high school athletes and threaten the integrity of fair play in our schools. Florida Parents for Fair Play stands with the FHSAA to promote playing by the rules and encourage parents and taxpayers to contact Florida legislators with their concerns.

Over the past year, Florida Parents for Fair Play has stood for the integrity of Florida high school athletics.  Florida Parents for Fair Play encourages concerned Florida parents and taxpayers to learn more about issues impacting high school sports, contact their legislators and voice their opinions about promoting fair play in high school sports.
